Editing customer order
1. How do I edit an existing job?
To edit a job:

Open the job/order you want to modify.

Click Edit Job in the top-right corner.

Update the fields you want to change (such as quantity or options).

Click Save to apply the changes.
Once saved, the system will update the job details and pricing automatically.
2. Can I change the order quantity?
Yes.

Go to Edit Job.

Scroll down to the Quantity field.

Enter the new quantity (for example, change from 5,000 to 500).

The system will automatically recalculate pricing, shipping, and taxes.
3. Will the price update automatically when I edit a job?
Yes. When you change details such as:

Quantity

Shipping method
-
Product options
the system automatically recalculates the total cost, including:

Job price
-
Shipping cost
-
Taxes
-
Order total
4. What happens if the customer already paid and the price changes?
If the price changes after editing:

If the new total is lower: the customer receives a credit on their account.

If the new total is higher: the customer may owe additional payment.
If the order has not been paid yet, the system simply recalculates the total.
5. How do I update the shipping method?
During the Edit Job process:

Locate the Shipping Method section.

Select the preferred option (for example, FedEx 3-Day).

The shipping price will update based on the new weight and quantity.
6. What if the customer wants an option that isn’t listed?
If the option isn’t available in the standard product options:

Go to Edit Job.

Scroll to the Edit Job Menu.

Select Copy this configuration and create a new product.
This copies all current settings and allows you to add custom options.
7. What’s the difference between creating a custom product and copying a configuration?

Create Custom Product from Scratch
-
Deletes the current configuration.
-
You must rebuild the entire product.

Copy Configuration and Create New Product
-
Copies all existing order details.
-
Lets you add or modify options without losing existing settings.
-
Most edits should use copy configuration.
8. How do I add a custom option to a job?
After copying the configuration:

Click Add Additional Option.

Select the option (for example, numbering or spot UV).
-
Enter:
-
Option value (e.g., Yes)
-
Additional cost (e.g., $50)
-

Adjust setup or production time if needed.
-
Click Create Product.
9. Can I change production time when editing a job?
Yes. When adding or modifying options, you can adjust the estimated production time by adding hours or leaving it unchanged.
10. How do I confirm the changes were applied?
After saving:

Return to the Job Details page.

Review the order summary.
-
Expand the job details to verify:

Updated quantity

Updated pricing
-
New custom options
-
11. Where can I see the updated order total?
The updated totals appear on the Job Details page, including:

Product total

Shipping cost

Taxes

Remaining balance owed by the customer
